Initially Amazon provided two forms versions of E- book. Barnes and Noble Nook e- reader is the new competitor of the kindle version. Similar are its functions like kindle version but Wi-fi compatibility, expandable memory and added advantages like sharing media facility with others using nook reader or iphone or ipods or Mac pcs or from Motorola blackberry and smart phones etc are great, yet the non availability of wireless facility makes it failure among users.
Sony e-reader is another newly launched e-reader. One can find all the facilities in the kindle version in this reader also. Therefore it can compete with that kindle version. There is no sharing option as of in kindle and noble versions yet has the place for expandable memory and best touch option when compared to kindle version. The biggest problem is that the value exceeds some $100 than Kindle and from Nook.
There is another e-reader in the race namely Irex Digital Reader. Similar to Sony reader it costs $100 more than the Kindle and Nook but having lesser upgrades. It has a screen size of nearly 8 inches yet the memory compatibility is more which holds 750000 books and it provides 3G facility with no Wi-FI option. Also it can be used worldwide.
