The entertainment has been growing tremendously in recent times. A lot of it has been made possible by its multiplex division of business. These multiplexes have been set up in all corners of the major metropolitans and haven taken over the business of the Cineplex. Besides, they have also been growing rapidly in the smaller tier two cities and are fast catching up in importance with its business set up in the metros. The experience of watching a movie in a multiplex or even visiting it is quite different and enjoyable for the film buffs and thus as a result it has encroached and slowly but steadily taken over the Cineplex goers.
Multiplexes are in themselves a wholesome and complete entertainment provider as has something for all. Integrated entertainment is the basis on which the multiplex business is based. Few reasons why the multiplexes have grown so rapidly are:
1. Availability of choices: multiplexes are an entertainment source for the entire family. It consists of more than one movie screens and as such play various different movies together. Thus, for a family out on a trip, each member can watch a movie of his/her own choice and liking.
2. Comfort factor: watching a movie in a multiplex is also a whole lot more comfortable than watching it in a Cineplex. This is because the seats and the auditorium here are better equipped and also comfort oriented.
3. Food courts: the food courts in a multiplex provide a wide variety of cuisines which are hygienic as well as of best quality.
4. Gaming zones: the gaming arena is meant for kids to enjoy themselves playing various games such as battle tanks, bumpy cars, carnival games, video games, etc.
5. Shopping: most top notch brands have a retail store of theirs set up in a multiplex. The shopping experience thus becomes a really enjoyable activity for one and all and can be indulged in while you wait for the movie to start or after it ends.
6. ATMs: a number of banks also have their ATMs in the multiplexes.
7. Parking area: multiplexes reduce one of the major headaches for people out to have a good time. That is finding space for parking their car. This is a major reason why people on an outing prefer visiting a multiplex.
Thus all of these reasons have combined to make multiplexes really popular among the public leading to rapid growth in the entertainment industry.
