First of all think whether you need an ID printer. Is the requirement of ID cards large enough to warrant such a purchase? The next important issue that is of concern when buying an ID printer is that of security, especially if the ID printer is to be used in high security areas. Thus access to the ID printer has to be securely guarded usually by means of a password. It is also necessary to get good after-sales service once you buy ID printers. It is important to get guarantee of good after sales service as well as on-site warranty when you decide to buy ID printers for your organization. Another important point to note is that the size of the ID cards should be not be standard size to make it difficult to get non standard consumables.
