Water is the rare resource of Middle East Area. It is not only the guarantee for peace, but also would be the last straw of a war. In the struggles between the Arabs and Israel for over 50 years, the conflicts caused by water resource occupy a principal part. In Israel, 25% of yearly water consumption is groundwater, and in Jordan, the portion is over 55%. At the West Bank Area of the Jordan River and the Gaza Strip, underground water occupies almost 100% of whole year's water consumption at present. Compared to the West Bank Area, the water resource condition of the Gaza Strip is much more severe. There are basically no surface rivers or dry rivers, and the underground water resource is limited. Due to over-exploitation for several years, it appears seawater osmosis now. If not depending on partial abroad water supply, the basic water supply can not be guaranteed for local citizens. At present, 85% of the Jordan River's fresh water still are applied to agriculture. With the construction change of industry, in relevant countries, the ratio of farm produce in the national economy and employment is greatly reducing. In Jordan, agriculture absorbs 10% of national work force, and uses 75% of its whole gained fresh water, but the output is just 6% of its gross domestic product. Israel absorbs only 3% of work force into agriculture, and uses 79% of gained fresh water, but the output of agriculture just occupies 3% of its gross domestic product.
However, except for shortage of water resource, Middle East Area faces the problems of water pollution and recycling, and also needs some water treatment equipment for industrial and domestic water. Except for the large scale equipment of water company, Middle East Area also needs water cleaner, sand filter and cycle equipments to clean industrial and domestic water. These equipments are with the functions of scale prevention, corrosion inhibition, sterilization, and algae removal.
