There are two kinds of rovan rc Cars: gas power RC Car, EP RC Car. The people who are experienced in controlling RC Car prefer to gas power RC Car. And it can be divided into two kinds. Most of gas power RC Cars use professional synthetic fuels. The engine is a important part. Therefore you should know how to adjust and maintain gas power RC Car.
1 The adjustment of engine
(1) First, starting engine for about 15-20 seconds. You can start adjusting when the temperature reaches work demand. When starting engine, you can let your car hang in the air. Because car will move around when adjusting.
(2) Listening the voice of engine carefully. If the voice is dry and powerless, it shows that there is no oil. Then adjusting the oil needle. You can magnify the lord oil needle. Generally speaking, a circle stands for 60 minutes. 4 minutes is better.
(3) Let the remote control throttle control rod in idle mode. And checking the gap of engine air throttle. About 1mm is better.
(4) Deputy oil needle is also called deceleration oil needle. Its function is to make sure stability of running when it's in low speed condition. If the accelerator reacts slowly when speeding up suddenly, it stands for there are rich in oil. So you can reduce deputy oil needle.
(5) There are too much oil or there are a few. No matter what condition is, it has adverse impact on engine. At last the temperature and voice of engine are the most important factors to know whether the operational state of engine is well or not.
2 The maintainance of engine
(1) Don't make engine overheat. If it's too hot, it will damage engine. As a rule, it's due to the mistake of oil needle. You can use infrared measuring temperature gun to test it after using.
(2) Cleaning air filter regularly. Meanwhile you can add gas filter oil on the surface of air filter.
(3) Because the fuel contains corrosive component, so you must take away air filter after using. And adding after run oil in air inlet port of carburetor.
(4) After using engine for 8-10 hours, you should check whether engine is running normally. The scope of examination includes: bearing of engine, spark plug, clutch.
(5) You may add after run oil if engine isn't used for a long time. and you can put engine in hermetic bag and put it in a dry place.
(6) The engine may be turn yellow, you can use carburetor cleaner to clean up.
