In 2003, he then started Intelius, Inc, an online firm that gives clients accurate information about people and places based on available public records. Intelius has paved the way for millions of Americans to easily and speedily conduct background and criminal records search via the Internet.
Included in the Forbes list of wealthiest persons in the world with a net worth of $2.2 billion in 2000 alone, Jain received awards such as the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the Albert Einstein Technology Medal for pioneers in technology. He has also been included in the Top 20 Entrepreneurs by the Red Herring. Intellius has been listed among the top 15 Corporate Philanthropists in the greater Puget Sound area, and included in America’s Top 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies.
