So what is the answer? The method to success in your warm market might be to develop a low-pressure pre-approach tool that you are comfortable using with everyone on your list. You should not expect a positive response from all of them, so you must be willing to approach a large amount of people, giving them all an option to say 'no' if they dont want to learn about your company.
From experimentation I have found that it is usually more effective to approach with information about the Network Marketing industry, rather than the opportunity. Once your acquaintances are comfortable with MLM then you can offer to share details about your organisation and opportunity. The last thing you want to happen is to jeopordise relationships with friends who feel uncomfortable with your well-meaning intentions.
So, what are the concepts behind prospecting on the Internet? Well the concept is identical. You should set a goal to attract a large amount of individuals into your prospecting pipeline and offer information that is of interest to them. The huge advantage of a well-structured Internet strategy is that your followers will actually want to be a prospect by requesting information from you!
Remember, Network Marketing is promoted as being a numbers game, so use a tried and tested system and spend your time sifting and sorting through your contacts to locate your red hot prospects. Consider this as being like panning for gold!
